Update opportunity stage

Update opportunity stage moves an opportunity to a different stage in its pipeline. Use it to automatically advance deals when milestones are reached — for example, moving to "Proposal" when a Snapshot Report is created. This action is available on account-scoped triggers.

How it works​

  1. The automation reaches the step with an opportunity in scope
  2. The step updates the opportunity's pipeline stage to the one you selected
  3. The opportunity moves to the new stage immediately
  4. The automation continues to the next step

Set up the action​

  1. Open the automation builder and add a new step
  2. Under Advanced, select Update opportunity stage
  3. Configure the fields:
