Send a plain text email via Gmail sends a plain-text email from your connected Gmail account to the contact in scope. This action is available on contact-scoped triggers.

Requires a connected Gmail account. The email is sent from the connected Gmail address, not from the Vendasta platform.

How it works​

  1. The automation reaches the step with a contact in scope
  2. The step sends a plain-text email from your Gmail account to the contact
  3. The email appears in both your Gmail sent folder and the contact's inbox
  4. The automation continues to the next step

Set up the action​

  1. Open the automation builder and add a new step
  2. Under Campaigns and emails, select Send a plain text email via Gmail
  3. Configure the email subject and body

Use Add dynamic content to personalize the email with contact or account data from previous steps.
