Start a campaign for the account

Start a campaign for the account enrolls all users and contacts on the account in a specified email campaign. A campaign can only be sent to each account once. This action is available on account-scoped triggers.

How it works​

  1. The automation reaches the step with an account in scope
  2. The step enrolls the account in the selected campaign
  3. All users and contacts on the account receive the campaign emails
  4. The automation continues to the next step

An error occurs if the campaign is sent to an account without users. A campaign can only be sent to each account once — subsequent attempts are skipped.

Set up the action​

  1. Open the automation builder and add a new step
  2. Under Campaigns and emails, select Start a campaign for the account
  3. Select the campaign to start

Outputs​

This action produces no outputs available to downstream steps.
