Log activity and hotness rating
Log activity and hotness rating logs a business activity on the account and raises its hotness rating. The hotness rating only increases — if the new level is lower than the current one, the rating stays unchanged. This action is available on account-scoped triggers.
How it works
- The automation reaches the step with an account in scope
- The step logs the activity you configured on the account
- If the specified hotness level is higher than the current rating, the rating is raised
- If the specified hotness level is lower, the current rating is kept (hotness never decreases)
- The automation continues to the next step
Set up the action
- Open the automation builder and add a new step
- Under Sales, select Log activity and hotness rating
- Configure the activity details and hotness level
Outputs
This action produces no outputs available to downstream steps.
Tips
- Hotness ratings can only go up — this prevents accidental downgrades. To reset a hotness rating, you need to do it manually outside of automations.
