Order Settings
Configure how orders behave and what actions salespeople and admins can take. Partner Center → Administration → Order Settings.
What you can control
Workflow step configuration (salespeople)
Enable or restrict behaviors for sales users:
- Configure workflow steps for salespeople
- Remove Terms and Conditions only when resending an order for approval
- Allow salespeople to edit order forms until activation
- Require salespeople to complete all form fields before sending an order
- Disable salespeople from selling standalone products on opportunities and orders
- Disable salespeople from adding tags to orders
- Allow customers to send an order to admins from a store page
Salesperson submit actions
Control what salespeople can do when submitting orders:
- Allow salespeople to send orders directly to admins
- Allow salespeople to charge the customer's saved payment method when submitting an order
- Allow salespeople to send orders to customers for approval
- Orders sent for approval by salespeople can accept payment
Admin submit actions
- Admins can bypass the approval workflow and activate orders instantly
Default content
You can add internal reference forms to every order.

Customer terms of service
Set the terms of service that appear on an order when it's sent for customer approval.
Email templates
Configure these customer-facing emails:
- Contract awaiting approval
- Order processed
- Order declined
