Demonstrate proof of performance with the Executive Report
The Executive Report is your secret weapon for engaging with your clients, continually proving your value, and retaining them for longer. In this course, you will explore the Executive Report and learn about the key features.
You'll learn the key features of the Executive Report, how to curate your client's experience, the 7 report sections, and how new data enters the report automatically.
The Executive Report shows immediate and incremental improvements—therefore ongoing value—over time. It is an automatically generated proof-of-performance report emailed weekly or monthly to your clients—making you the hero!
It shows changes over time from data sources that have been connected, including:
- Google Business Profile
- SEO
- Reviews
- Listings accuracy
- Website analytics
- Advertising
- Social media activity
- Vendor apps activated on the account
You can also provide project updates about work being done via Task Manager.
We recommend the Become a Snapshot Ninja course to understand the powerful connection between the Snapshot and the Executive Report.
The Executive Report assembles metrics from products throughout the Vendasta platform, making it your client's single source of truth for the state of their online presence.
| Feature | What It Means |
|---|---|
| More products and KPIs | Advanced reporting from Reviews, Listings, Social, Website, SEO, and Advertising. Most active apps push data to the report |
| Short-term and long-term trends | Compare week-over-week or month-over-month. Use long-term trends to contextualize—e.g., "Fewer visits from Google Maps this week, but traffic has more than tripled in 6 months" |
| Automated emails with highlights | Delivered at the beginning of every week, month, or both. No sign-in required. Mobile-responsive |
| Immediate value on day one | After running a Snapshot or authenticating GBP, useful data appears in Business App within 5 minutes |
| White-label | Fully white-labeled with your logo and branding in both email and Business App |

New data appears automatically when supporting products are activated on an account and some time has passed for data ingestion. The time needed varies by product.
We support custom data integrations via API. If you have a database you'd like to connect to the Executive Report, work with your Account Manager for a custom integration via our Marketplace APIs.
See the Vendasta Resource Center for a full list of products that push information to the Executive Report.
You enable the Executive Report tab and set monthly emails. A client has Listings, Reputation, and Social active. Within days, data flows in. The report shows listing accuracy up 15%, reviews up 8, social engagement up. You send the monthly email. They open it on their phone, see the progress, and ask about adding SEO. Proof of performance drives the upsell.
