Measure digital ad success with Advertising Intelligence

Position your agency as an expert in digital ad reporting and provide clients with software to compare campaigns and analyze meaningful metrics. Advertising Intelligence consolidates reporting from Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and more—all under your company's logo. It directly impacts the first stage of the customer journey: Awareness.

Learning Goals
  • Connect Google Ads and Facebook Ads accounts
  • Explore the dashboard and metrics
  • Configure Settings
  • Understand Advanced Reporting and multi-location

🔗Connect Google Ads and Facebook Ads

The first time you launch Advertising Intelligence, you will be prompted to connect your ad accounts (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.). Once connected, click Get started to be taken to the Overview page and view data from the connected network.

Explore Advertising Intelligence inside the Vendasta Marketplace.

📊Explore the Dashboard

On the Overview page, you'll see one card per ad network connected (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) with important metrics for tracking ad campaigns.

Free version: The date range in the top right corner is locked at 30 days.

Automation: Consolidation of reporting from Facebook, YouTube, Google Display, and more is all automated—leave time-consuming, margin-eating manual reporting in the past. Advertising Intelligence is freemium: free with a clear upgrade path to Advanced Reporting.

⚙️Configuring the Settings Tab

Open the Settings page (top right corner). From there you can:

  1. Manage your connected accounts
  2. Customize which metrics your clients will see (e.g., toggle ROI on or off)

If you don't want clients to see ROI in their dashboard, use the toggle switch in the Settings page.

📈Advanced Reporting

Advanced Reporting is the upgrade for clients who want more detailed metrics or multi-location functionality.

Advanced reporting overview

  • Custom date range: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, all time, or custom—so clients can spot trends and better time ads or allocate budget
  • Individual campaigns: Detailed metrics for each campaign under Google Ads and Facebook. Choose which specific campaigns to upload
  • Campaign drill-down: Click any campaign (highlighted in blue) to see campaign objective, individual ads, keywords, campaign funnel, and campaign status

Settings and multi-location

Advanced Reporting has additional options for customizing metrics. The Executive Report has multi-location capabilities for larger clients.

With Advanced Reporting, clients can keep track of trends, compare individual campaigns, and utilize multi-location.

💬
In Practice

You connect a client's Google Ads and Facebook Ads. You open Settings and hide ROI for now—they're not ready for that metric. You show them the Overview: spend, clicks, conversions by network. They upgrade to Advanced Reporting. You set a custom date range for Q3. You drill into their top campaign—objective, ads, keywords. For their franchise client, you enable multi-location. Reporting is easy and digestible.
