MatchCraft Managed Ads Campaign
Overview
MatchCraft Managed Ads Campaign is a do-it-with-me solution where our advertising professionals work with you to create and manage an effective online advertising campaign. Campaigns can run across search, social, display, and video, and are conversion-focused, with an onboarding call, one major round of revisions, ongoing optimization, and reporting through Advertising Intelligence. It's the right fit for businesses ready to scale and focus on results.
What's Included
- Specialist-built, multi-platform campaign tailored to your goals and budget.
- Onboarding call to align on the campaign type and advertising goals.
- One major round of revisions before launch, plus a final approval.
- Quality assurance pre- and post-launch: checks approximately 48 hours, 4 business days, and 14 business days post-launch to confirm the campaign is pacing properly.
- Ongoing monthly optimization: automated bidding, built-in budget management, and smart optimizations make the most of your ad spend; optimization continues on a monthly cadence until the campaign is terminated.
- Advertising Intelligence reporting connected in Business App, available throughout the campaign period.
- Audience segments: depending on the ad spend tier, you'll get 4–6 audience segments (subgroups based on geographic location, gender identity, income, and more).
Platforms
Your campaign can run across a range of platforms. The platforms available depend on your goals and spend level—see Advertising platforms for full details.
- Search — Google & Bing: Text ads shown when people actively search for your services (pay-per-click).

- Performance Max — Google: Goal-based campaigns that run across Google's full inventory (Search, Display, YouTube, Gmail, and Maps).

Key terms
- Ad groups: ensure message relevance and targeting precision within a campaign ("Who is this for, and what specific message should they see?").
- Ad versions: variations of messaging, visuals, or formats designed to test performance ("What should we say, and which version performs best?").
- Audiences: a defined group of users you want to target (or exclude) based on characteristics, behaviors, or prior interactions ("Who are we trying to reach or avoid?").
- Campaigns: define the strategic goal and constraints of an advertising effort ("What are we trying to achieve, and how much are we willing to spend?").
Add-ons
- Boost (one-time): a one-time increase in ad spend to generate more views, clicks, conversions, and calls—ideal for short-term promotions. The additional spend can be added in the current campaign cycle as long as our team has 2–3 business days' notice; any amount not spent within the cycle is applied to the following month.
- Call Tracking: one forwarding number to track calls from your campaigns and listen to call recordings, within a 500-minute monthly limit. A great way to prove ROI.
- Landing Page: a professionally built landing page to complement your campaign and encourage actions like form fills, calls, or store visits. Requires a high-resolution logo and images (stock photos can be used as needed).
- Strategy Call (monthly): a monthly 30-minute call with an ads strategist to discuss your campaign's strategy and performance.
Prerequisites
Complete the order and fulfillment form with as much detail as possible. Timeline: we'll review the order and send a confirmation email within 2 business days.
Campaign assets
To build a successful campaign, we need four assets:
- Advertiser's logo: minimum 250px wide; PNG, EPS, Ai, or PSD files preferred.
- Images: 1–3 high-resolution images related to the promotion. Image size 1,200 × 628 pixels; image ratio 1.91:1.
- Promotion & slogan: ads perform significantly better with a promotion attached. Provide a short, concise slogan and/or promotional offer, 2 sentences maximum (unless otherwise specified).
- Website link: a hyperlink where interested customers can find more information about the business or promotion.
Platform-specific requirements
- For Facebook/Instagram advertising: access to approve Meta Business Manager requests; 1:1 ratio, 1080 × 1080 pixel resolution images; a Meta Pixel.
- For Google Display or Performance Max advertising, banner images in these sizes:
- 728×90 (Leaderboard)
- 300×250 (Medium banner)
- 300×600 (Half Page)
- 160×600 (Wide Skyscraper)
- 320×50 (Mobile leaderboard)

How to grant Facebook Page access
If your campaign includes advertising on Facebook, we need access to the Facebook Page to run it. Our team sends a request from our Facebook Business Manager (Online Marketing Solutions).
Method 1: Desktop (directly through Facebook.com)
- Log in to Facebook and navigate to your Page.
- On the left-hand sidebar, click Professional Dashboard.
- Scroll down the left menu until you see Page Access.
- Look for a section titled Pending Partner Requests or Invitations.
- Click Respond to Request and follow the prompts to Give Access to Online Marketing Solutions.
Method 2: Meta Business Suite
- Go to business.facebook.com.
- Ensure your specific Page is selected in the top-left dropdown.
- Click Settings (the gear icon, usually at the bottom of the left sidebar).
- Click Business Settings (this may open a new tab).
- Under the Requests tab in the left-hand menu, click Received.
- You should see the Business Manager's name, Online Marketing Solutions. Click Approve.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Admin rights: You must be an Admin of the Facebook Page (or the Business Suite) to see and approve these requests. If you're only an Editor, the request won't appear for you.
- Email notifications: Facebook usually sends an automated email with a "Respond Now" button. If you can't find it, check your Social or Spam folders.
- Once sent, the request may take up to a day to be transmitted.

Getting Started
- Fulfillment form — Complete the order and fulfillment form with as much detail as possible. We review the order and send a confirmation email within 2 business days.
- Onboarding call — The confirmation email includes a booking link. The call is your opportunity to share information about the campaign; prepare by confirming your desired campaign and advertising goals. It can be booked in as little as 1 business day, depending on availability.
- Campaign build — Our team builds the campaign from the fulfillment form and onboarding call. We create the campaign for your review and approval within 5 business days of the onboarding call.
- Revisions — We request that you complete one major round of revisions so we can get the campaign right while keeping launch on track.
- Final approval and launch — After we implement changes and complete our quality-assurance process, the campaign is shared once more for final approval. Once approved, we set it live within 5 days (campaigns are never set live without your approval). Whenever possible, we launch within 30 days.
- Ongoing support — The campaign is connected to Advertising Intelligence in Business App for reporting. We run quality-assurance checks ~48 hours, 4 business days, and 14 business days post-launch, then optimize on a monthly cadence until the campaign is terminated. When a campaign performs well, increasing the budget can drive more awareness or conversions.
Ending the campaign
The campaign continues to run with the same monthly budget and ongoing optimizations until you cancel. Terminating a campaign means cancelling the associated products in Partner Center. Please cancel at least 5 business days before the renewal date. Our team turns the campaign off at the end of the current month's term and exhausts all remaining unused ad spend. We do not offer refunds for unused ad spend.
Service limitations
- Results guarantees: We can't guarantee specific results. We implement best-practice strategies, but platform algorithms are unpredictable, so it would be unethical to promise results that can't be guaranteed.
- Fluctuating timelines: We launch as quickly as possible, but we can't launch without ironing out every important detail first. Completing the fulfillment form fully helps your campaign launch far more seamlessly.
FAQ
Billing
How will I be charged for this product?
This service charges a one-time setup fee, a monthly management fee (calculated as a percentage of the spend), and the selected ad spend amount. On initial activation, you're charged the first month's spend, the management fee, and the setup fee. The following month, you're charged only the ad spend amount and the management fee.
The setup fee is the one-time cost of creating and launching the campaign. It includes the creation and quality assurance of the ad, the setup and verification of the tracking code, the audience research, and the campaign audit and launch.
The management fee is a percentage charged on top of the monthly ad spend. It ensures our team can optimize, analyze, and report on the campaign each month.
What if I want to add budget to, pause, or cancel my campaign?
The agreed ad spend budget is always exhausted before the campaign is put on hold or canceled, and we don't offer refunds for unused ad spend. We request a 5-day notice period for all spend change requests and cancellations so we can pause or cancel the account correctly. If a change request is submitted at the last minute and the campaign renews, we run the campaign for the renewed amount, and the spend change, pause, or cancellation takes effect the following month.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
All cancellations must be made 5 days prior to the renewal date. If a cancellation is requested after this cutoff, the renewal occurs and we run the campaign for the renewed amount until the end of the month. When the cancellation request is made, our team spends the remainder of the ad dollars for that cycle and does not run the campaign the following month.
How does the management fee work when I increase ad spend or add a Boost?
The management fee is a percentage based on the wholesale ad spend, added on top of the spend. If the ad spend increases, you'll see the exact dollar amount you'll be charged for the management fees, whether the change comes from a Boost or additional spend.
Campaign details
Can you help create attractive graphics for my campaign?
We'd be happy to! Reach out for all the details related to this service.
Can you run my campaign without Meta Business Manager access?
Unfortunately, no. To run and manage social campaigns, our team needs access to the local business's Meta Page through Meta Business Manager. Please ensure you have the necessary access to approve Meta Business Manager requests.
Do you provide stock images for Meta & Instagram?
We can absolutely provide stock images if requested and required. However, we recommend you provide professional images of the business to ensure an authentic and engaging campaign.
If I am already using a Meta Pixel, are we able to continue using this?
To use your own Meta Pixel, you'll have to add our Business Manager ID to the Pixel. This ID number will be provided by our team upon request.
How is the "Expert's choice" platform decided?
The platform(s) for "Expert's choice" are selected by our ads analyst and specialist teams based on expert opinion and research to best achieve the goals you've laid out. We also take into account the vertical, budget, and the product or service being advertised.
Do you have any examples of ads your team has done before?
Of course! Visit this website to find a variety of examples of projects we've completed in the past.
Do you support ads on Google Maps?
Yes, local search ads can show on Google Maps after the owner of the Google Business Profile (GBP) authorizes access to the platform.
