Step 2: Connect Zapier to Business App (4 min)
Zapier is a third-party tool that connects external systems with Business App. It enables workflows that would otherwise require manual data entry or custom development.
How Zapier works
Zapier sends data—such as contact details—from your client's other software tools into the Business App CRM. Instead of manually inputting customer details, data flows automatically when events occur in connected apps (e.g., a new booking, form submission, or sale).
Use cases
Sync leads from booking systems, forms, or e-commerce into Business App. Trigger follow-up messages, add contacts to pipelines, or kick off review request sequences—all from a single automation.
Step 3: Set up automated review requests with Reputation AI (3 min)
To automate review requests in Business App, Reputation AI must be activated on the account.
"Send a review request" action
The "Send a review request" action in Business App automations only works when Reputation AI is active. Without it, the action will not function. This ensures clients receive the full value of automated review solicitation—getting the right requests to the right customers at the right time.
Enhancing client engagement
Automated review solicitation keeps your clients' reputation efforts consistent. Trigger review requests after completed jobs, purchases, or positive interactions—without manual follow-up.
A contractor uses Zapier to sync new job completions from their booking tool into Business App. An automation triggers 24 hours after a job is marked complete: "Send a review request" fires because Reputation AI is active. The customer receives a timely request and leaves a 5-star review. The contractor gets more reviews without lifting a finger.
